Cathy Williams

Cathy Williams, born in Trinidad, has published romance with Mills and Boon since 1990, more than thirty years of it in the Modern and Harlequin Presents lines. She puts the career down to persistence, and names Trinidad and the quiet countryside of middle England as the two places she draws on. Bargains and pretences run through the work, A Deal for Her Innocence of 2018 among them. The Truth Behind His Touch, from 2012, sets Caroline Rossi in the Milan office of Giancarlo de Vito, a man who made his own fortune and has a revenge in mind that only she can help him carry out. In A Deal with Di Capua the year after, Rosie Tom is left a cottage on Angelo Di Capua's country estate by his late wife, and has to come to terms with him to keep it. Consequences of Their Wedding Charade, 2022, sends childhood friends Curtis Hamilton and Jess Carr to a wedding in the French Alps as a couple for show, and a pregnancy follows.
