Ceri Evans
Evans played football for New Zealand at the 1988 Olympics, then read medicine, trained as a forensic psychiatrist in Britain and spent years assessing violent offenders. He now works with the All Blacks and other teams on what happens to decision-making under pressure. Perform Under Pressure sets out his red head and blue head model: red is the flooded, reactive state, blue is the state in which a person can still choose, and the work is noticing the switch early enough to do something about it.
