Cora Carmack

Carmack studied theatre and worked in it before writing, which shows in her fondness for performers and stage nerves. Losing It went up as a self-published title in 2012, about a drama student who flees a one-night stand and finds the man teaching her class the following morning. It sold fast enough that William Morrow signed her, and the Rusk University football books followed. She was raised in Texas and has moved around a great deal since.
