Corrine Winters

Corrine Winters writes paranormal cozy mysteries that pair small-town investigations with an unconventional supernatural protagonist. Hexes & Hogs opens the Motorcycle Witch Mysteries and introduces Dana Craig, a forty-two-year-old witch beginning again in Casper, Wyoming. Dana runs a Harley shop, rides an Indian trike with a sidecar for her pit bull Popo, and belongs to a local motorcycle group. When a series of fatal crimes places her friend Julie under suspicion, Dana joins the inquiry alongside best friend Melissa, ghostly daughter Gracie, and sheriff Tobias Arcadio. The combination of workshop life, witchcraft, and community gossip gives the mystery its distinctive texture. Later volumes, Grab A Gear & Disappear and Dog Gone Ride, continue the sequence around Dana and her companions. Hexes & Hogs establishes Winters's playful approach to the cozy form, where magical ability helps but does not replace observation, loyalty, and the practical work of clearing a friend's name.
