English readers later received Gabriele Costarella's translation, accompanied by a preface from Giovanni Borelli. Antelope Hill Publishing issued that edition, while modern discussion of the book has emphasized Baseggio's role as founder and commander rather than treating the Arditi as an anonymous institution.
