Curtis Dunham
Curtis Dunham shares authorship of Two In a Zoo with humorist and illustrator Oliver Herford. Bobbs-Merrill published the children's story in 1904. It brings a boy called Toots and a girl known as the Princess into conversations with animals they visit, using fantasy to explore captivity, friendship, and mistaken assumptions. Project Gutenberg identifies both writers and separately credits Herford's pictures. The original title page therefore presents the book as a joint literary and illustrated work, not a single-author text. Dunham's contribution belongs within that collaboration.
