D.L. Green

Green writes the Zeke Meeks books, a long series of short illustrated novels narrated by a third-grader who is losing at everything: the talent show, the science fair, the soccer team, his own birthday. They are pitched at children who find reading hard and want something funny that does not condescend to them. Green worked as a lawyer and as a social worker before writing for children, and has published dozens of books under this name and others.
