Dahlia Donovan built The Sin Bin around a rugby club and the men who play for it, a seven-book run of male/male contemporary romance from Hot Tree Publishing. After the Scrum, the prequel, follows Caddock Stanford, who loses his brother and his rugby career and, unsure what comes next, buys a pub in Looe while raising his young nephew. The Royal Marine and The Lion Tamer belong to the main sequence, from 2017 and 2018. Her own biography traces her first romance series to a dream about shifters and damsels in distress, says she prefers irreverent humour and unconventional characters, and describes her as autistic. She writes crime too, in the Grasmere Cottage Mystery and Motts Cold Case Mystery books.
