Dan Levy is a Canadian writer, actor, director, and producer whose work on Schitt's Creek joined character comedy to an unusually warm account of family and community. Best Wishes, Warmest Regards was written with his father and fellow series co-creator Eugene Levy. The illustrated book traces all six seasons through character histories, scripts, set photography, costume details, and behind-the-scenes recollections from the cast and creative team. Black Dog & Leventhal published the American edition in October 2021, while Trapeze handled the British edition. Its expanded title, Best Wishes, Warmest Regards: The Story of Schitt's Creek, makes the television connection explicit. Levy played David Rose and contributed to the series as creator, writer, director, and executive producer; Eugene Levy played Johnny Rose and shared the originating creative role. Their collaboration gives the book two complementary viewpoints on how the Rose family and the town's ensemble developed from an initial premise into a sustained story about belonging.
