Dan Masters

Dan Masters writes mythic fantasy that reworks the struggle for power among the Greek gods. Hephaestia is the third volume in the I Am Zeus series, following Zeus and the allies gathered around him as they prepare to challenge Cronus. The story turns on the need to forge a weapon capable of defeating the Titans, giving Hephaestia and the craft of divine metalwork a central place in the developing conflict. Masters released it during 2022, continuing the Apocosmos Multiverse setting used across his books. Its focus is not a simple retelling of one surviving myth. Instead, Masters builds a serialized fantasy in which familiar names, rivalries, and divine roles become parts of an ongoing struggle for the Greek pantheon. Hephaestia therefore works as both the culmination of the opening I Am Zeus arc and a bridge toward a larger confrontation, with invention and alliance carrying as much weight as inherited divine strength.
