Daniel Hurst

Hurst writes short psychological thrillers quickly and publishes several a year through a digital-first house, and The New Year's Party is one of them: a group of old friends and a secret that arrives at midnight. He worked in a London office and wrote on the commute before going full time. The books are engineered to be finished in a single sitting and make no pretence otherwise, which is a legitimate thing to build and is rarely admitted.
