Danika Bloom

Danika Bloom writes contemporary romantic comedy with close friendships, playful conflict, and families who rarely remain in the background. Frisky With My Bestie is a novella in her Mixed Six-Pack series, centered on longtime friends Morgan and Tamara. The friends-to-lovers story uses forced proximity and falls chronologically before First In: Cheeky with the Fire Chief, although it was the fifth story written. A winter trip to a remote cabin near Vancouver gives Morgan a chance to reconsider a friendship that began after Tamara's brother died. Its compact plot remains connected to the wider series through Morgan's half brother Nick. The compact form keeps attention on the pair's shared history, teasing exchanges, and fear that changing the relationship could destroy what already matters. Frisky With My Bestie shows Danika Bloom using an isolated setting to test a bond built across years, while siblings and remembered family ties remain part of the emotional frame.
