Diane Alberts publishes romance under her own name and has also written as Jen McLaughlin. Absolution appeared in 2012 as the opening Honor Guard story. It centers on Eva and Joseph, former partners forced into renewed contact when Joseph is assigned to protect her from an organized threat.
