Duff McKagan is a bassist, songwriter, columnist, and author best known as a founding member of Guns N' Roses and a cofounder of Velvet Revolver. He cowrote many Guns N' Roses songs and entered the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with the band in 2012. His other projects include the group Loaded, while his columns have appeared in Seattle Weekly and ESPN. How To Be A Man, published in full as How to Be a Man (and other illusions), gathers lessons from touring, family life, fatherhood, education, and financial responsibility. Da Capo credits journalist Chris Kornelis as a collaborator and presents the book as a follow-up to McKagan's memoir It's So Easy (and other lies).
