Edwin L. Sabin
Edwin Legrand Sabin (1870-1952) was an American writer who worked as a newspaper reporter before turning to books full time. He built a long career on Western and frontier fiction, along with popular histories and boys' adventure stories about scouts, wagon trails, and the building of the railroads. Drawn to the country he wrote about, he eventually settled in California, and his prolific output helped shape the popular image of the American West in the early twentieth century.
