Elena Danaan gives her professional background plainly: born in France, a fine arts degree in Paris, postgraduate archaeology at the Louvre school, and about twenty years of field archaeology, eight of them in Egypt working as an epigraphist recording inscriptions. She is also a musician. The books are something else. They present her own account of contact with extraterrestrial visitors, beginning with her being taken as a child and continuing, she says, as physical meetings rather than channelling or visions, and A Gift From The Stars catalogues the species she describes. AREA 51 belongs to the same body of work. None of it is corroborated by anyone outside her own testimony, and the material sits in the disclosure and contactee scene rather than in anything a physicist or an archaeologist would recognise as evidence. She has a large following on video, and the books sell well within that audience.
