Eliot H. Robinson

Eliot Harlow Robinson (born 1884) was an American novelist whose books came from The Page Company of Boston in the 1910s and 1920s. His best known is "Smiles": A Rose of the Cumberlands (1919), popular enough to reach a tenth printing by 1921 and to earn a sequel, Smiling Pass. He also wrote Man Proposes; or, The Romance of John Alden Shaw (1916), Mark Gray's Heritage, and The Maid of Mirabelle: A Romance of Lorraine (1920), and he helped the aviator William A. Wellman, later the director of Wings, put together the war memoir Go, Get 'Em! (1918). Library catalogs record his birth year but no date of death.
