Eliza Tilton

Eliza Tilton writes swift fantasy romances set in recurring supernatural worlds. The Starlit City is the second of four Shifting Fae novels, placed after The Moonlit Woods and before The Eternal Sea and The Never Rift. Published in 2022, it continues a completed sequence in which each couple receives a distinct romance while all four stories build toward a shared confrontation with shadow creatures and the closing of the Rift. Tilton presents the series as clean fantasy romance with gradual relationships, shapeshifting fae, and intricate worldbuilding. Her other work includes the young-reader fantasy series The Daath Chronicles and the Victorian-set Unholy Magic Saga. The Starlit City resolves its central romantic arc inside a larger quest. Its position remains important because knowledge of the Never, the Rift, and the allied couples accumulates across the four books, giving individual decisions consequences that extend through the final volume.
