Beaumont grew up in southeastern Massachusetts and describes dark fantasy as a lasting reading interest. Her other series include The Hunter, Demons of Frosteria, and Secrets of Galathea, extending her focus on dangerous magical worlds, difficult alliances, and romance under pressure.
