Emily Harvale

Emily Harvale, based in Hastings, writes warm British stories about friendship, family, community, and changing relationships. Friendships Blossom in Clementine Cove completes her three-book Clementine Cove series after Christmas at Clementine Cottage and Broken Hearts and Fresh Starts at Cove Café. The novel brings Iris, Rosie, and Stella together across different stages of life, allowing their choices and mutual support to shape the village narrative. Secret Wishes and Summer Kisses on Lily Pond Lane belongs to another of Harvale's recurring coastal settings, where neighbors, local businesses, and hopeful new beginnings connect one book to the next. Harvale writes novels, novellas, and short stories, and her larger catalogue includes the Merriment Bay, Seahorse Harbour, and Wyntersleap sequences. She is a member of the Society of Authors and returned to her home town after working in London. Across these two books, her characteristic focus remains the emotional value of friendship and the possibility that an established life can still change direction.
