Emma Harrison

Emma Harrison is the publishing identity American teen novelist Kieran Scott uses for several romances. The Best Girl follows college student Farrah Morris, who calls herself Jane at school to create distance from her prominent family. Her brother's winter wedding brings that separated identity back into view. Farrah is asked to stand as his best person at a Colorado resort, where Connor, a student from her English seminar, is also working. Wedding obligations, family expectations, and romance force her to decide which version of herself she wants others to know. HarperTeen published The Best Girl in late 2007, with later HarperCollins editions appearing in 2008 and 2009. Harrison's broader list includes Tourist Trap, Snow Queens, and Finding What's Real, alongside adaptations connected to television and film.
