Felicia Donovan

Felicia Donovan has worked in journalism, in education and in law enforcement, and writes crime fiction from New Hampshire, where she lives with her partner. The Black Widow Agency books follow four women who run an investigation agency together, among them a computer specialist who keeps a pet tarantula and an office manager with a sideline in craft, and the series drew a Barry Award nomination. The French Girl moves away from that comic register. It was a quarter finalist for the Amazon Breakthrough Novel Award, and it is set in the small Massachusetts town of Cote Nouvelle, where Etoile and her older sister Anais grow up with a mother who is little help to them and a father lost at sea years before.
