Felix Adler

Felix Adler was a philosopher, educator, and social reformer who founded the Ethical Culture movement in New York during the nineteenth century. The Essentials Of Spirituality presents his account of moral growth through obligation, self-discipline, service, and respect for the worth of other people. Adler taught social and political ethics at Columbia and built educational and civic institutions through Ethical Culture.
