Frank Berrios edited comics at DC Comics in the late 1990s, including Batman titles during the No Man's Land run, then moved to Random House Children's Books, where he has spent more than twenty years as an editor and is now executive editor for Random House Brands, writing for young readers alongside the job. Penny of the Pyramids, illustrated by Bill Robinson, is a 2014 Step into Reading title tied to the DreamWorks film Mr. Peabody & Sherman and pitched at children just starting to read alone. Much of his other work is Little Golden Books, among them Football with Dad and a short life of Jackie Robinson.
