G. S. Kenney

G. S. Kenney writes romantic science fiction and fantasy, bringing editorial experience and photography into a career centred on imaginative worlds. Mightier Than Magic follows Katie, a princess apparently without magical ability, and Alaric, an imprisoned mage-king whose proposed political marriage could end a long conflict. The novel uses court intrigue, an oath-bound agreement, and Katie’s emerging power to test whether peace can survive family rivalry. Kenney’s wider fiction includes the Sons of Aran science-fiction romance series, beginning with Freeing Eden and continuing through Alien Son and related stories. Freeing Eden drew Golden Heart competition recognition before publication. Her work often joins speculative systems with intimate questions about trust, duty, and belonging. Mightier Than Magic shifts that interest into a secondary-world fantasy, where personal affection and public negotiation carry equal weight and a quiet protagonist must decide how to use an ability that changes her place within the kingdom.
