Harmony Raines builds connected paranormal-romance communities populated by bear, wolf, dragon, and other shapeshifting characters. Bound To Her Bear begins the six-book Bear Bluff Clan sequence, introducing Eirik and Drew within a mountain town whose land and family history affect their bond. The 2015 novel is followed by Doctor Bear and four further clan stories. A later setting contains Witch Moon Wishes as the third entry in the four-book Wishing Moon Magic sequence. That 2022 story follows Keely, Clancy, and a well-intended wish whose consequences unsettle their assumptions about belonging. The two works show Raines using series at different scales: one builds a clan through successive couples, while the other links romance to a compact magical arc. Bound To Her Bear establishes a community; Witch Moon Wishes revisits how supernatural rules complicate choice. Both keep the featured relationship central while allowing recurring places and secondary characters to make each decision matter beyond one pair.
