Jennifer Barclay

Jennifer Barclay is a British author and editor whose travel books explore how sustained residence can deepen a visitor's understanding of place. Meeting Mr Kim recounts her move to South Korea after professional exhaustion prompted a change of direction. Rather than limiting the narrative to Seoul, Barclay travels through towns, temples, coastal areas, and historic sites while learning about food, language, customs, and everyday hospitality.
