Jessica Fern
Fern is a psychotherapist who took attachment theory, built to describe one child and one caregiver, and asked what it means for people with several partners at once. Polysecure sets out how insecure attachment shows up in non-monogamous relationships and what secure functioning might look like across more than two people. It became the standard text in that community very fast. She practises in Colorado and runs training for other therapists, which is the business the books feed.
