Jim DeFelice

Jim DeFelice has built a writing career across military history, biography, and fiction, often working with participants to shape first-person accounts. He collaborated with Chris Kyle and Scott McEwen on American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History, published by HarperCollins in 2012. The memoir presents Kyle's years as a United States Navy SEAL, with DeFelice serving as one of the writers who helped bring that experience into book form. As sole author, DeFelice has also produced biographies and historical nonfiction, including works on Omar Bradley and the Pony Express, alongside numerous coauthored books.
