John F. MacArthur

John F. MacArthur was a pastor, teacher, and Christian author whose work was associated with Grace Community Church, The Master's University and Seminary, and the Grace to You media ministry. He died in July 2025. Harvest House Publishers released A Year of Prayer in 2014 for week-by-week reading. Its fifty-two selections draw on prayers MacArthur delivered on the Lord's Day and emphasize worship, gratitude, reflection, and careful preparation. The arrangement offers a yearlong devotional companion that links his public ministry with private spiritual practice.
