John Lloyd

Lloyd produced Not the Nine O'Clock News, Spitting Image and Blackadder, then created QI, a quiz show scored on being interesting rather than right, which has run for two decades. The QI Facts books collect what the researchers dug up and could not fit on air. He has spoken publicly about the depression that followed being passed over for a job he had expected to get, and about the idea for QI arriving out of that period. He started in BBC radio and shared an office with his friend Douglas Adams.
