Kristina Forest

Kristina Forest writes romantic stories for young people and grown readers, often placing ambitious Black protagonists in the arts. Now That I’ve Found You is a young-reader romantic comedy published by Roaring Brook Press in 2020. It follows aspiring actor Evie Jones, whose plan to restore her public image depends on finding her celebrated grandmother, Evelyn Conaway. The search pairs Evie with musician Milo Williams and turns New York City into part of the story's creative setting. Macmillan's academic listing notes the novel's recognition by Book Riot and the Junior Library Guild. Forest later expanded into grown-reader romance while continuing to write about careers, family expectations, and relationships shaped by artistic goals.
