Langston Hughes, Zora Neale Hurston

This play joins two towering figures of the Harlem Renaissance. Langston Hughes (1901-1967) was a celebrated poet and chronicler of Black American life, while Zora Neale Hurston (1891-1960) was a novelist and anthropologist, author of Their Eyes Were Watching God, who collected the folklore of the rural South.
