Lauren Graham

Lauren Graham draws on the uncertain rhythms of an acting career in her debut novel, Someday, Someday, Maybe. Set in New York in 1995, the story follows aspiring actor Franny Banks as the deadline she set for herself approaches and auditions, friendships and temporary work compete for her attention. Ballantine Books released the debut in 2013. Graham is also known for portraying Lorelai Gilmore in Gilmore Girls and Sarah Braverman in Parenthood, while her career encompasses producing and screenwriting. She studied English at Barnard College before earning an MFA in acting from Southern Methodist University. Her later books include the essay collection Talking as Fast as I Can.
