Lizzy Dent

The Summer Job puts a woman into a job at a remote Scottish hotel by answering to her friend's name, which would be manageable except that the friend is a sommelier and she cannot tell one wine from another. Dent worked in television across several countries before writing, and her novels are comedies about people who have not worked out what they are doing at an age when everybody assumes they have. She lives in Austria.
