Ludwig Wittgenstein
Ludwig Wittgenstein (1889-1951) was an Austrian-British philosopher who worked on logic, language and the mind. Born into a wealthy Viennese family, he studied under Bertrand Russell at Cambridge, later returned to teach there, and produced two bodies of work that each reshaped modern philosophy.
