Ma. Isabel Sanchez Vegara

Ma. Isabel Sanchez Vegara is the shortened credit used for Barcelona writer and creative director María Isabel Sánchez Vegara. She created the Little People, BIG DREAMS picture-book series to introduce notable lives through concise stories for young children. Amelia Earhart presents the aviation pioneer's childhood curiosity, record-setting flights, and determination, supported by a timeline and historical photographs. Frances Lincoln Children's Books published the volume in 2016, with artwork by the Barcelona studio Mariadiamantes. Sánchez Vegara's larger series ranges across artists, scientists, athletes, activists, and performers, pairing researched life stories with a different illustrator's visual language.
