Melissa Ambrosini
Melissa Ambrosini danced professionally at the Moulin Rouge in Paris, then acted and presented television in Australia, until a run of illness and burnout pushed her out of performing altogether. She trained afterwards as a holistic health coach through the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and qualified to teach yoga and meditation, then built a second career around self-worth and mindset. Mastering Your Mean Girl, published by Tarcher in 2016, gives a name to the internal critic and lays out exercises aimed at money, health and relationships. Three more books followed: Open Wide, Comparisonitis, and Time Magic, written with her husband, the singer-songwriter Nick Broadhurst, and named Australian Business Book of the Year for 2023. Ambrosini sells a paid ten-week online course built on the same material, along with other programs, and hosts a personal development podcast under her own name. She lives in Australia with Broadhurst and their two children.
