Melissa Lenhardt

Lenhardt writes three quite different things out of Texas: a crime series set in a small east Texas town, the Sawbones trilogy about a woman doctor who has to run west after being accused of murder in eighteen seventies New York, and The Secret of You and Me, in which two women who were teenagers together return to the same town two decades later and find out what the place still costs them. All three share a suspicion of places that look settled.
