Peter Diamandis

Diamandis holds aerospace degrees from MIT and a medical degree from Harvard, and has spent his career building organisations rather than practising either. The Ansari XPRIZE he founded put ten million dollars on the first privately funded crewed spaceflight and was won in 2004, and the model has been repeated across a dozen fields since. Bold and Abundance, with Steven Kotler, argue that exponential technology is about to make most scarcity optional. He also co-founded Singularity University and several longevity companies, which tend to appear in the books.
