Philip Briggs

Philip Briggs is a travel writer associated with African destinations and Bradt Travel Guides. He began exploring Africa in 1986 and proposed a guide to Hilary Bradt two years later. During the 1990s he produced standalone guides to Mozambique, Tanzania, Uganda, Ethiopia, Malawi, Ghana, and Rwanda. Mozambique became part of a sustained publishing career and continued through revised editions.
