Robert Williams Wood

Robert Williams Wood (1868-1955) was an American physicist celebrated for pioneering work in optics, spectroscopy, and ultraviolet photography, and for debunking pseudoscience. A playful writer as well as a scientist, he produced this book of comic verse and woodcuts as a lighthearted counterpoint to his research.
