Tricia Goyer

Tricia Goyer writes Christian historical fiction shaped by archival research, interviews, faith, and the moral pressures of war. By the Light of the Silvery Moon places Amelia Gladstone and the estranged Walpole brothers aboard the Titanic, recasting the prodigal-son story during the ship's 1912 voyage. Barbour Publishing issued the novel in 2012, the centenary year of the disaster. From Dust and Ashes, Goyer's first novel, follows an Austrian officer's wife, an American soldier, and concentration-camp survivors after liberation. Moody Publishing released it in 2003 as the opening Liberator novel. Goyer developed that story after visiting Austria and interviewing veterans of America's 11th Armored Division who had encountered the Gusen and Mauthausen camps. Across both books, documented catastrophe remains close to individual choices about mercy, responsibility, forgiveness, and belief, giving large historical events a deliberately intimate scale.
