Valentine Low
Valentine Low is a British journalist and royal commentator who spent over a quarter century reporting on the royal family, first through a long career at the London Evening Standard and later at The Times. Courtiers shifts attention from monarchs to the advisers, private secretaries, and household officials who mediate public duty, family relationships, and institutional change. Drawing on interviews and archival reporting, Low follows how palace service evolved across the modern House of Windsor and into the reign of Charles III. St. Martin's Press published the American edition, while Headline issued the British edition under a different subtitle.
