A Dangerous Man

Connie Brockway’s novel “A Dangerous Man” tells the tale of Mercy Coltrane, an adventurous young American who goes to England to find her estranged brother. Resolved to succeed in her mission, she turns to Hart Moreland, the hired gun her father hired to defend their property—a man she knew as Duke the Gunslinger years ago.

Hart, who is currently the Earl of Perth, has ascended to a powerful and respected position in his home England, but he is not interested in being reminded of his disgraceful past. Mercy, though, turns out to be much more than a sobering reminder. She is bright, attractive, and funny, she is everything Hart wants to be happy about.
