A Voice from Jerusalem records the mission of Orson Hyde (1805-1878), the early Latter-day Saint apostle who in 1841 travelled to the Holy Land and offered a prayer on the Mount of Olives dedicating the land for the gathering of the Jews. The book gathers his account of the long journey through Europe to Palestine and the dedicatory prayer that remains significant in Latter-day Saint history.
