About this book

Connie Schultz's memoir, "And His Lovely Wife," explores the challenges, delights, and sheer craziness of entering a new marriage at midlife. It also shares her experiences campaigning with her spouse, Sherrod Brown, who is currently Ohio's junior senator. The events leading up to Sherrod's decision to run for the Senate are openly discussed in the book, as is Connie's choice to resign from writing her Pulitzer Prize-winning column in the midst of one of the most closely followed elections in the country.
