Andrew Golding The book is written in the form of a memoir by Lucia Dacre. Lucia and her sister are left alone after their father’s death. They journey to Yorkshire, where they are presented to their aunt’s nephew by marriage, Andrew Golding. Andrew is a subtle but caring young man. On their journey, they encounter a group of villagers persecuting a man of the Quaker faith.
