About this book

The author of 'Around the World in 57 1/2 Gigs' is Dave Bidini. This book chronicles his impromptu world pub tour. When it looked like Rheostatics was falling apart after more than twenty years together, Dave Bidini drifted away from his moorings and decided to go on a very long road trip around the world to find out about the state of rock 'n' roll playing solo.
