About this book
The text says that from the beginning of time sorrow and anxiety, regret and tribulation, have always been the lot of every loyal servant of God. The extract numbered 2 begins O thou my affectionate sister and goes on: In the daytime and in the night-season my thoughts ever turn to thee. The extract numbered 3 begins Dear and deeply spiritual sister and offers the prayer that that pure and blessed Leaf may be comforted by Thy sweet savours of holiness.
An extract says the brief but informative letter written to Shoghi Effendi, the Chosen Branch, the Guardian of the Cause of God, has been received together with the scrolls of doubt enclosed. The extract numbered 86 sends heavenly greetings to those two faithful servants of the holy Threshold of the Abhá Beauty.
